As one of Hong Kong’s leading fine jewellery manufacturers, we always have a sincere ambition to be an eco-friendly company.
And yet, we faced the toughest challenges to meet the international sustainability standards when we started off our journey a couple of years ago – when Asia was behind in its push towards sustainability compared to other parts of the world, especially in our industry. Despite where we stand at times of challenge and controversy, we must make an effort to be more environmentally conscious, no matter how small that impact may be.

Jewellery is a celebration piece of all life’s precious moments to spread joy; a tangible piece of a symbol of family to show love; a sentimental piece that on passes down for generations. Our designs are timeless, and our jewellery is designed for endurance. For us, jewellery can be more than just beautiful. We tried to make a difference to do our business in meaningful ways to give back to our planet. With nothing but a n ethical way in our jewellery production to create sustainable and responsible jewellery.

All materials of our responsible jewellery are sourced with the highest ethical standards.
Our Diamonds
It all started with the raw materials we use. The most important aspects of ethical jewellery production, transparency and traceability of our supply chain, are extremely complicated and difficult to achieve. The Kimberly Process (KP) is one of the ways to seek conflict-free diamonds, and we recognized we had to do more than that and we started to use Know Your Supplier (KYS) solution to help. Working towards transparency and traceability is a real collaborative effort with our suppliers.
Along the way, we have been monitoring and reviewing our suppliers. The screening is crucial to ensure our suppliers share the same ethical thoughts. We buy most of the diamonds from Sightholder companies and limit our suppliers to only a reasonable number. We know our sources better, we have more confidence in their sourcing operations, and hence our products.

Beyond that, we continue to strive for the best to reduce our impact on the planet. As a pioneer in Hong Kong jewellery manufacturing industry, we believe we are in a unique position to work more sustainably and deliver real impact accross the industry
We started using certified recycled gold in creating our jewellery pieces from 2019.
Creating responsible jewellery is a long arduous journey, but we must always remain keenly aware of our responsibilities to the environment. Recycled gold is an extremely effective way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from mining. We believe the carbon emission savings can be huge. And our hard work paid off – we are proud to be certified as a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC Certification Number 0000 3707) in 2021.
As a certified member of RJC, we commit to operating our business in accordance with the RJC Code of Practices. We are always aware of the transparency and integrity of our supply chain. Nature offers us precious metals and gems, we make huge effort in ensuring our suppliers with ethical and sustainable sourcing. We believe sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We keep looking for ways, big and small, to be a responsible and sustainable jeweler.

Our Environment
We are committed to minimizing the impact of our business operations on the environment. We noticed one-time event paper invitations and festive greeting cards leave negative impact on the environment. Think about paper pollution, vehicle pollution during mail delivery, detrimental effects and so on. All these harmful ecological impacts will add up over time, and our planet will pay the price. What we are trying to do is – go paperless. And a better way, why not start to reduce our carbon footprint by stopping the use of paper invitations? Going green is not just a trend. Sending a digital event invite is our first step and we need to start making small changes in any way we can to embrace our environmental responsibilities.
Our Community
We are committed to positively contributing to our community, aiming to build a better tomorrow for our future generations. We actively take part in a wide range of charitable initiatives, including fund-raising events and visits held by NGOs which share the same vision. We are thrilled to engage with youth as we recognize our youth is the hope of our future. Empowering and engaging the youth through various education programs, like sharing sessions and workshops for students in design institutes, are our fundamental work to care and support our community. We will continue to find new ways to give back to the community and keep inspiring our people to pay kindness forward.
Our Next AIM
In the next stage of our path to sustainability, we will continue to pursue our ambitious sustainability agenda in each of our business operations. We are excited to be part of this journey and we believe every small step we take counts to help us achieve our sustainability goal.
